The ideal candidate will have current contacts in the automotive corporate world and be able to deliver sales quickly. The Sales and Marketing Manager position responsibilities is to plan and implement sales, marketing campaigns, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new clients by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing sales staff.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plan to accommodate company goals; Training and setting objectives for the sales team on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly sales
2. Develop a marketing and pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the company profits while ensuring customer satisfaction
3. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
4. Monitor motorsports trends that indicate the need for new products and services
5. Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
6. Meets with key clients, assisting sales with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
7. Liaison between sales department and VP of Experiential marketing
8. Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department; analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results
9. Create sales plans for potential new corporate customers
10. Responsible for the identification, pursuit and generation of new corporate business opportunities
11. Manage new and existing accounts through ongoing relationship building and follow-up to ensure the service is meeting expectations.
12. Manage Sales activities going through Cvent – promotions, discounts, calendaring, registration, customer contacts, etc.
13. Assist in RFP responses for current and future experiential clients; prepare for and be a part of stand-up presentations when needed.
