Nicolas Rondet is a competitor through and through.  He has twelve years of open-wheel racing under his belt, netting numerous wins, accolades and a treble of championships.  

Today, the competitive juices keep flowing in the form of Ironman Triathlons.  

He was born in France, raised in Brazil and switches conversations among English, French, Spanish and Portuguese speakers with all the ease of switching on the lights.  This coupled with a passion for teaching and refining a process over the last 18 years is what makes Nicolas so valued as the Chief Instructor for the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School.  All of our instructor corps benefits from his knowledge, guidance and inspiration.  

Nicolas currently resides in Santa Rosa, California.

Paul Gerrard brings twenty years of driving, racing, engineering and instruction experience to bear on the curriculums and programs for the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School.  His background includes open-wheel and sedan racing on a wide range of surfaces with numerous wins to his credit in both North America and Europe.  He’s done development work and testing for car and tire makers, and he’s designed school and automotive entertainment programs for groups from 5 to 500 in every corner of the globe.

As with all great products,  Paul infuses Jim Russell programs with a subtle blend of the tried-and-true and cutting edge innovation to end up with curriculums that leave no stone unturned.

Paul has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and splits his time between Sonoma and Boulder, Colorado.
